Meet Jenny Bridges

Jenny Bridges is the founder and president of ConnectEd Strategies. With more than 20 years across a variety of public relations functions, Jenny has developed a passion for ensuring that even the smallest organizations have access to high-quality public relations services.

Jenny most recently served as the Director of Public Relations for Waxahachie ISD for nearly 10 years, where she grew the department's scope of responsibilities as the district experienced significant enrollment and community growth. She also served as the Executive Director of the Education Foundation for Waxahachie ISD, leading the growth of the Foundation's endowment to over $1 million in assets, as well as more than tripling annual fundraising programs.

Jenny also has extensive experience in corporate public relations, having worked for international PR firm Fleishman-Hillard for several years, where she led communications programming for a key business unit of a Fortune 50 client. She also had the opportunity to lead marketing programs for her family's local business, allowing her to create connections throughout Ellis County.

Jenny holds a BA from Southern Methodist University in Corporate Communications and Public Affairs, as well as an M.Ed. from Lamar University in Digital Learning and Leading. She also holds a Certified Public Communicator certification from Texas Christian University and a Business Bridge certificate from the Dartmouth College Tuck School of Business.

Jenny is a native of Waxahachie, Texas, where she and her family reside today. She and her husband, Ben, have been married nearly 20 years and have two daughters, Stella and Parker. Outside of her work in public relations, Jenny is heavily involved in her community and currently serves as the vice chair of the Waxahachie Planning & Zoning Commission; president of the Southern Star chapter of National Charity League; co-president of the Wilemon STEAM Academy PTO; vice president of the Education Foundation for Waxahachie ISD board; a sustaining member and past president of Waxahachie Junior Service League; and volunteers her time throughout the community. She and her family are active members of Remedy Church in Waxahachie.
